Colin Allen
Executive Director
As Executive Director of the American Property Owners Alliance, Colin Allen sees his mission as helping educate property owners about federal issues and policies that affect them as homeowners, and making sure their voices are heard in the halls of Congress as they advocate for policies that create opportunity, build family wealth and protect their most significant investment – their home.
Property ownership is one of the best ways to build wealth, strengthen communities and support our national economy. For nearly two decades, Colin has played a central role in development and advocacy campaigns supporting homeownership and housing policy. Prior to taking the helm of the Alliance, Colin served as the Director of Government Advocacy and Political Strategy at The National Association of REALTORS.

Telling Our Modern Housing Story
Today’s housing market challenges buyers and renters like never before—half of America’s homeowners and renters struggle to afford their housing costs.
Americans face a range of obstacles when it comes to housing. The Alliance is drawing attention to these challenges by telling #OurHousingStory. Together, we can inspire action to make homes and rentals more affordable and strengthen financial stability for more Americans.
